Zane has the ability to control others by using their emotions. This occurs when they breathe in a strong phermone gas constantly produced when he breathes. The gas is odourless, invisible and almost undetectable in nature. It can only be seen by Zane himself. When a victim has inhaled the gas wether through their nose, mouth, pores or other openings, it makes its way to the brain. Once in the brain, both the victim and Zane have a sort of link or connection. With this connection, Zane can control the person and use them to his will. This happens when he controls their emotions. Whether by making them sad enough to give him money, or angry enough to defend him and kill anybody in his way. He can also control the path or direction of the gas and activate or deactivate the link between the brains at any time. Other than this, he can also exhale a very corrosive acid capapble of burning strong objects such as adamantium. Lastly, he is capapble of using sonic screams from his mouth which can do tremendous damage.

History:
The Breath did not always have his powers. His father Burt was a genetics researched who studied phermones in different animals such as bees. His mother, Ann was a singer and distributor of cologne and perfumes. One day Burt had made a chemical which contained some X-genes along with phermones and other chemicals. The government wanted to make weapons to fight against their enemies and mutants. Unfortnatley Ann accidentally picked up the chemical from Burt's lab thinking he stole hers when she really did misplace it. Foolishly Ann used the cologne on her son and in seconds the ppor boy began choking on the chemicals. Burt seeing what happened quickly got gas masks and placed it over Ann and himself. Zane chocked on the chemicals as if they were blocking oxygen from entering his body. In minutes his throat became red and had a rash on it along with his nose. Burt quickly called over government doctors who took the lad away to help him and after days of procedures the choking had stopped and the rash had disappeared. Unfortunatley Zane became mute and the doctors kept him for months. One night Zane was having a terrible nightmare which caused the boy to wake up distressed screaming. The scream was not oridnary as a large sonic blast tore apart the base where he was being held. It was almost a similar to the voice of a whale but obviously more dangerous. Everyone was knocked out and Zane quickly used this opportunity to run away. He knew he couldnt go back home or else they would find him. Instead he decided to live in dumps trying to control his power. Later on Zane had grown up and it had been 8 years and he was 15. His phermone gas had been born and he found out people did things for him. When he asked for money they gave him everything in their wallets. Zane then went to the point where he had a family adopt him and he lived with them happily. But later at school he was picked on by bullies over the years and had lost control.A corrosive gas had exited from his mouth and it melted and destroyed the bullies's skin leaving them with terrible wounds. The parents quickly abandoned Zane before his phermone gas had reached them and they left. Zane then wondered New York once more meeting other mutants like him.

Zane was walking down the streets of New York casually when he saw a mugging taking place. Two guys were holding up a woman and took hodl of her purse and jewellry. Zane having nothing better to do merely breathed from a far and watched as the gas spread around the muggers. After they had finish they ran into Zane's direction and he quickly stopped them by punching one of the muggers. They got ready to attack Zane but he quickly told them "You will stop and return the things you have stolen and turn yourself in to the police". With a serious expression teh two muggers quickly did as he said. The man then walked away thinking of something better to do.
